They are support to us, our forefathers are.
Many a useful secrets have revailed us the wise ones.
They informed us by becoming phases of history;
ever since the ancient times,
By stretching their arms into eternity,
By turning into epics...
They are good examples for our age for;
they have kept our ancient banner higher than the sky...

My heart flutters (with excitement) it flutters, flutters..
The sound of the dombıra* rumbles, rumbles...
''The eternal spirit is alive'' says my heart (inner-self)
As if it has reached us by turning into a mystical song...

I see the marks, the traces which;
our forefathes left behind.
I see the marks, the traces
on the way of the wise ones passed tramping.
Our ancient song is our joy and sadness;
I sing it with excitement.
Our Jambıl and Abay are
my most precious; I know this and their lead I follow.

I sense, I know, I see all of this before
so then; how could I not perceive this?
My ode, my secret, my ever changing song
which; has astonished me yet again as I recalled it.
