The Almaty Central Mosque ???? is the largest mosque in Almaty and one of the largest in Kazakhstan ???????? , holding up to 7,000 worshippers.

Built: Foundation laid in 1993, completed in 1999

Dimensions: Main dome height is 36 meters; minarets reach 47 meters

Architecture: White marble exterior with gold-leaf-covered domes and intricate blue-tiled mosaics.

Cost: Free to enter for both Muslims and non-Muslim visitors.

Timing: Visit outside of main prayer times.
