Join us on our second day exploring Almaty, Kazakhstan. We visit the world's highest ice rink - Medeu and Shymbulak ski resort. We saw this place on a UK TV show a few years ago and said we wanted to visit... and we made it!

This is definitely a worth while day trip from Almaty, and the surprise hike we ended up doing was worth it for the views.
