Solo travel in Kazakhstan – Almaty-யில் நான் சந்தித்த உண்மையான அனுபவங்கள்! ????????

Day 13 of my Kazakhstan journey!

I checked out from Wanderlust Boutique Hostel in Almaty and headed towards Sayakhat Bus Station to find a shared taxi / Marshrutka to Charyn Canyon.

But things didn't go as planned. With no convenient ATM, expensive taxi demands and difficulty finding an affordable shared ride, I had to cancel my Charyn Canyon plan for the day.

Instead, I started looking for another hostel in Almaty 2. That's when I unexpectedly met an interesting Chinese traveller who had adopted a Kazakh puppy????❤️

We shared our travel experiences, talked about adventurous journeys, had some local bread together and had plenty of funny moments despite being complete strangers.

In this episode, I also share my experience of the railway hostel, my concerns as a solo female traveller, the reality of Almaty's outer areas and what I planned next for my Charyn Canyon trip.
Sometimes a failed travel plan can lead to an unexpected and memorable meeting. ❤️

Kazakhstan பயணத்தின் 13வது நாளில் Almaty-யிலிருந்து Charyn Canyon செல்ல திட்டமிட்டு Wanderlust Boutique Hostel-ல் இருந்து checkout செய்தேன்.

Sayakhat Bus Station சென்று Charyn Canyon செல்லும் shared taxi / Marshrutka தேடினேன். ஆனால் ATM வசதி இல்லாதது, taxi-க்கு அதிகமாக பணம் கேட்டது என எதிர்பாராத பிரச்சனைகள் வந்ததால் அந்த நாளில் Charyn Canyon செல்லும் plan-ஐ cancel செய்ய வேண்டிய நிலை ஏற்பட்டது????

அதன் பிறகு Almaty-யில் வேறு hostel தேடி சென்றபோது Almaty 2ல் ஒரு railway hostel கிடைத்தது.
அங்கே தான் எதிர்பாராத விதமாக ஒரு interesting Chinese traveller-ஐ சந்தித்தேன். ????????❤️

அவர் ஒரு Kazakh puppy-ஐ adopt செய்திருந்த கதை, அவருடைய travel experiences, என்னுடைய adventurous travel stories என பல விஷயங்களை strangers-ஆக இருந்தாலும் நாங்கள் share செய்துக்கொண்டோம்.

ஒரு local shop-ல் bread வாங்கி சேர்ந்து சாப்பிட்ட funny moments, hostel experience, Almaty நகரத்தின் வெளிப்புற பகுதிகளின் உண்மையான நிலை, மேலும் solo female traveller-ஆக நான் உணர்ந்த safety concerns பற்றியும் இந்த episode-ல் பகிர்கிறேன்.

Charyn Canyon செல்லும் plan தோல்வியடைந்தாலும், அந்த நாளில் சந்தித்த இந்த fellow traveller எனக்கு ஒரு unexpected inspiration ஆனார்❤️
