Kazakhstan Travel Series – Episode 8 ????????

Day 12 of my Uzbekistan & Kazakhstan journey continues in Almaty!

In this episode, I explore Green Bazaar, one of the most famous markets in Almaty. I walk through different sections selling clothes, shoes, caps, fruits, vegetables and various types of meat, while sharing useful information about prices at the market.

I also meet Indian tourists and ask them about their experiences travelling in Kazakhstan.

Later, I try Kazakhstan's famous national dish Beshbarmak at a luxurious restaurant. I try five pieces of horse meat and taste each piece while sharing my honest experience of the dish. ????????️

After a pomegranate juice break, I return to my hostel and explain my upcoming travel plans to Charyn Canyon, Kolsai Lake and Kaindy Lake, including how I plan to reach these destinations using local transportation.

Unfortunately, my Kok Tobe Hills plan gets cancelled because the area is under maintenance.
But the most memorable experience of the day happens at night. ❤️

A local stranger who had previously given me apples unexpectedly invites me for dinner after realizing that I hadn't eaten. We walk together and have dinner, and he even walks with me all the way to my hostel to make sure I reach safely before leaving.

It was a beautiful moment that showed me the kindness and hospitality of the people of Kazakhstan. ????????????

Back at the hostel, I have a funny conversation with fellow travellers from China and Kazakhstan before ending the day.

Almaty பயணத்தின் Day 12 தொடர்ந்து, இந்த Episode-ல் Kazakhstan-ன் பிரபலமான Green Bazaar-ஐ முழுமையாக explore செய்கிறேன்.

Market-ல் கிடைக்கும் dresses, shoes, caps, fruits, vegetables, meat என அனைத்தையும் பார்த்து, Green Bazaar-ல் பொருட்களின் விலை எவ்வளவு? என்பதையும் பகிர்கிறேன். அங்கு சந்தித்த Indian tourists-களிடம் Kazakhstan பயணம் எப்படி இருக்கிறது என்றும் கேட்டறிகிறேன்.

அதன்பிறகு Almaty-யில் famous ஆன Kazakhstan National Dish Beshbarmak-ஐ தனியாக restaurant-ல் try செய்கிறேன். குறிப்பாக horse meat-ஐ try செய்து, ஒவ்வொரு piece-ஐயும் taste செய்து review செய்கிறேன். ????????️

Kok Tobe Hills maintenance காரணமாக அந்த நாள் plan cancel ஆனாலும், அடுத்த நாட்களில் செல்ல திட்டமிட்டிருந்த:

ஆகிய இடங்களுக்கு எப்படி transportation மூலம் செல்லப் போகிறேன் என்பதையும் detail-ஆ share செய்கிறேன்.

ஆனால் இந்த நாளின் மறக்க முடியாத சம்பவம் இரவில் தான் நடந்தது. ❤️

முன்பு எனக்கு apples கொடுத்த ஒரு Kazakhstan stranger, நான் dinner சாப்பிடவில்லை என்பதை தெரிந்து கொண்டு என்னை dinner-க்கு அழைத்துச் செல்கிறார். பின்னர் இரவு நேரத்தில் என்னுடன் நடந்து வந்து, நான் hostel-க்கு பாதுகாப்பாக சென்றதை உறுதி செய்த பிறகே அவர் திரும்பிச் செல்கிறார்.

அந்த தருணத்தில் Kazakhstan மக்களின் kindness-ஐ நேரடியாக உணர்ந்த அனுபவம் இது. ????????????

Hostel-க்கு திரும்பிய பிறகு China மற்றும் Kazakhstan-லிருந்து வந்த travellers-களுடன் நடந்த funny conversation-உடன் நாள் முடிகிறது.
